Are you crazy about designer handbags? I have been since I was a teenager. I would peruse fashion magazines and dream about buying all those gorgeous designer handbags. I'm still dreaming about owning them all these years later!
Okay, I admit I've delayed paying bills so I could purchase a sexy new purse, but even so, I draw the line at paying more that ,000 on one. Well, okay, I've never spent quite that much.
But hey - I can still dream! Looking around online one day last weekend, I was amazed at how pricey some of them are! They're certainly out of the price range of most of us "regular" people. So I thought I'd check out just how much the most expensive handbags cost.
Fendi is my most favorite designer when it comes to handbags. Somehow they always seem to get it just right. Their "B.Bag" is one of the most popular high end designer handbags among those who can afford them. The ,000 price is just way too far out of my price range, sad to say.
Another bag I just adore is the Herme "Birkin" handbag. They're copied a lot, but the copies can never really capture the elegance and quality of the real thing. But since the originals cost over ,000, it's understandable why they are so frequently copied. They're so exclusive, though, that you have to special order them. And then the cost depends on what materials and hardware you choose for your custom handbag.Guess I'd better start looking for a rich husband if I really have to have one of those!
There's another bag that I would just love to own. It's the Yves Saint Laurent "Muse." The design is quite similar to a bowling bag, actually. I saw my first one at Saks in New York City, and from that moment on I wanted one so badly! My choice material would be gorgeous white crocodile. If I had an extra ,000 burning a hole in my pocket, that's what I'd buy. Oh wait, I really want that Birkin bag, too... Hey, let's go shopping girlfriend!
